Neuro-Linguistic Programming

Neuro: This is a reference to a person’s brain or their mind, especially with regard to how states of body and mind affect a person’s behavior and communication.

Linguistic: This is a reference to how our mind and body states show up in our verbal and non-verbal communication.

Programming: This refers to the inherent capability we have to change our mind and body states and to interrupt the auto-pilot state that is our usual default.

Sally is trained in Neuro-Linguistic Programming and knows the structure of these programs in the mind and how to access them through conversation so that outdated programs and autopilot behaviors can be changed.

Neuro-Linguistic Programming

Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) is based on the premise that if someone else can do something, so can I. I can learn from other people their behaviors, patterns, ways of doing things, and can model them and do what they do. NLP includes the idea that perception is reality. What we perceive, we see as real. And how we view events, thoughts, and ideas, and how we experience the world in general, is how we create our own reality. Some of these thoughts become beliefs. If those beliefs or if our version of reality doesn’t suit us anymore, they can be changed.

Hypnotherapy

Hypnosis is a tool to enter into a trance like state to make change. All hypnosis is self-hypnosis. You are always in control. Being in a hypnotic state is a way to access your unconscious (subconscious) mind.

Through ancient Hawaiian healing systems, Sally can help facilitate the changes you wish to make. You are responsible for creating the changes that you want. Everyone has the resources and ability to heal themselves. I am just a facilitator for change.

Benefits of NLP, MER® and Hypnotherapy

The benefits of NLP, MER® and Hypnotherapy are endless. Using these techniques, a variety of issues can be resolved or reduced, such as anxiety, lack of motivation, depression, phobias, nail biting, allergies, limiting beliefs, fear, sadness, hurt, guilt, road rage, and hitting the snooze button. It can also help you not be bothered by another person's habits like snoring, gum smacking, pen clicking, etc.

NLP can help with goal setting, making decisions, diet and health issues (ex – getting rid of “wanting” an unhealthy food, or conversely, wanting to enjoy exercise), getting from an undesired state to a desired state quickly – getting from sadness to joy for example.
